The 1967 GTO marked the end of the highly successful and popular first generation of GTO's that had been sold since 1964. The GTO with its rakish body, powerful 400 cubic inch engine, and aggressive ride and handling had become one of the cars to have back in 1967.
We have a 1967 real GTO with a lot of originality here at Skyway Classics today. It is a real “242” VIN number GTO, mostly original paint and interior, with the YS code engine and full PHS Documentation showing it was ordered with the 400 cubic inch engine, TurboHydramatic automatic transmission, 3:36 Safe-T-Track rear end, in Regimental Red, with a black interior.

This GTO is powered by a YS stamped 400 cubic inch V8 engine block, heads, and intake painted the correct Pontiac blue shade of paint, has a four-barrel carb, correct chrome vale covers and chrome open-element air cleaner, Factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, with a dual exhaust system.
It features power steering and power brakes, 10-bolt rear end, a Turbo automatic transmission with a Hurst Dual-Gate shifter. The engine is sitting in a very clean and detailed engine compartment and the entire car runs and drives great. The underside of the car is detailed and rock solid, as you would expect.
Interior
This GTO has a black twin bucket seat interior with matching door panels and rear bench seat, wood-grain dash and all the correct factory gauges,, black carpet and floor mats, Pontiac Sport spoke wood steering wheel, pushbutton radio, and the Hurst His/Hers shifter in the factory console.
Exterior
It has mostly original paint with only the hood, passenger door, and the right front fender having been repainted.
It rides on chrome 5-spoke wheels and black sidewall tires to give it the correct period look and GTO stance.
