1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS Pro Street
Why This Car Is Special
The El Camino is the Chevy counterpart to the Ford Ranchero and started its run in 1959. The 1972 shares the same front end as the Chevelle but gives you the ability to haul or tow.
The 1972 Chevrolet El Camino Pro Street we have here at Skyway Classics brings a whole new meaning to that word “haul!”
Ours has been modified into a street or strip “hauler” with a powerful #3999289 454 cubic inch big block V8 engine, race inspired but A/C equipped interior, and a very modified narrowed race or street rear end with big meats to hold the power to the ground.

The paint on this one is a deep and dark blue with ghost flames and a terrific shine and presentation over the El Caminos swoopy design with the cowl induction hood and scoop, hood pins, blacked out front grill with the SS emblem, chrome bumpers, bright trim, marker lights, SS badging, and the shiny aluminum tubbed truck bed.
Conclusion
This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS Pro Street we have here at Skyway Classics is one modified street and strip car reminiscent of all the ¼ mile warriors back in the 60's and 70's.
It is not something you will see every day, but those who do see it will look at it in awe as it is one vehicle that they will have to reckon with.
The 1971-72 Chevelles and El Caminos are climbing in value and sell fast. Especially when they look like this one. El Caminos are just plain cool. Is it a car or a truck? Is it a muscle car? Is it a good investment?
Yes, to all those questions.
So, give us a call at 941-254-6608.
