Mechanical Specs

Our 1970 has a #395558 engine stamp which shows to be what we believe is the original 350 cubic inch small block Olds engine it came with.

It has a Chrome open element air cleaner with 442 decal on lid, Holley finned aluminum valve covers, Aluminum intake, Power Steering, Power Brakes, MSD electronics, Headers, Dual exhaust system, and a Turbo 350 automatic transmission, all sitting in a factory stock looking engine compartment.

It rides on 442 chrome factory styled wheels and raised white letter BFG Radial TA tires to give it that factory 442 look and stance.

Interior

But the brand new white bucket seat interior with factory console that houses the three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission shifter also impresses in the details like the black factory steering wheel, wood-like trim, aftermarket Pioneer radio, power steering and power brakes, plus the brand new white power convertible top.

It has the matching rear seats and door panels, factory dash with all factory gauges and controls with woodgrain inserts, black carpeting and seatbelts too.

Exterior

When you want a bit of mean 442 style you add the 442 emblems, 442 Ram Air hood with its scoops and white stripes, and the chrome hood locks to go with it.

Dress it in brand new shiny red paint, and top it with that new white convertible top, and you have a Cutlass 442 Tribute that has some of the best design lines of the day with good panels, form-fitting new chrome bumpers, and full-length trim to showcase this refined style.

On top of that ours has a factory spoiler, new door and trunk locks, new side marker lights, a 442 Front Grill, new quarters on both sides, and all the restoration parts ordered from Original Parts Group with restoration pics available as well as all receipts on this build, and you have one fine ride.

Conclusion

The 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Tribute Convertible we have here at Skyway Classics has a brand new red paint job with white stripes, brand new white bucket seat interior w/factory console, and brand new white convertible top.

It will be a very nice collector car to cruise in and enjoy in our sunny state of Florida, or any state for that matter.
