The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and the car has Dual Exhaust, Anti-Lock Four Wheel Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, Traction Control, 3:55 Ratio Limited Slip Axle, front suspension with MacPherson struts and the three-link rear suspension has a lightweight, tubular Panhard rod that provides precise control of the rear axle.

The 2007 has four-wheel disc brakes have the biggest rotors and stiffest calipers ever fitted to a mainstream Mustang and rolls on factory 18-Inch chrome wheels with black sidewall performance radial tires and has a throaty exhaust emanating from the rear.
