We have a pretty blue 1969 Pontiac Firebird with a correct YE code and what we believe to be the original matching numbers 350 cubic inch V8 engine, automatic transmission, and a blue interior here at Skyway Classics.
This V8 has been improved to make sure it gets a lot of looks and is a terrific vintage Pontiac muscle car with the correct intake, blue painted block, correct #47 heads, and correct chrome valve covers and all sitting in a clean and detailed engine compartment.
Mechanical
Our Pontiac has what we believe to be the original YE code 350 cubic inch V8 engine in it with a lot of performance upgrades on it including chrome valve covers, open element chrome Edelbrock air cleaner, performance distributor, Pontiac blue painted block, heads, and intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carb, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, performance in-line fuel filter, power brakes, power steering, dual exhaust, and a three-speed automatic transmission.
It sounds great and delivers a great muscle car performance and easy drivability and sits in a very nice engine compartment.
Interior
Our Firebird has a great blue twin bucket seat interior with matching blue seats, front and rear blue carpets and floor mats, door panels, seatbelts, and dash with the factory steering wheel and large factory gauges as well as accessory gauge below the dash. It has burled walnut appliques on the center console that gives it that great premium feeling as well as on the automatic shifter, wood shifter knob, and has an original look right down to the pushbutton radio.
Exterior
You will like the way the blue painted exterior looks with its bold styling that has the unique chrome bumper that was the iconic Pontiac wide track look, the twin hood scoops and 400 emblems were added for looks, front side vent Pontiac Trans Am type rear-facing scoops, and the aftermarket chrome SS 5-spoke mag wheels with black sidewall tires mounted on them.
