Mechanical

The engine in our 1971 is a 360 cubic inch V8 that has plenty of horsepower and torque and is backed by an automatic transmission.

It is painted in the correct shade of turquoise as is the factory intake and has other accessories like the chrome valve covers, performance ignition and spark plug wire set, aluminum radiator, but still retains the factory black air cleaner assembly, factory power steering and power brakes, and sits in a very clean, painted, and detailed engine compartment.

It also has Dual Exhaust that exits via the aluminum side pipes on each side of the car and rides on BF Goodrich Radial TA tires on the factory grey spoke mag wheels.

Interior

The interior of our Javelin has black high back bucket seats in front with a center console and rear seats that are comfortable and sporty in design and provided more legroom for rear seat passengers than the previous years.

The car's dashboard is asymmetrical with functional white faced instrument gauges that wrap around you with cockpit efficiency.

It has black carpet and door panels, an engine turned dash panel inlay, the factory American Motors AM/FM radio unit, and even a stirrup type shifter for the automatic transmission in the console.

Exterior

Our Javelin is repainted in a bright yellow paint scheme that really attracts a lot of attention. The paint is super and flows well over the sculpted fender bulges and the revised front fenders that were originally designed to accommodate oversized racing tires.

The new design grille, painted bumpers, taillights, and rear facia looks sporty and sounds great too with the dual exhaust on the sides.
