Why This Vehicle is Special

This is a great restoration of a 1938 Ford Sedan Delivery into a street rod we have here at Skyway Classics that looks top notch, drives, runs great and has lots of upgrades, too!

This very unique 1938 Ford Sedan Delivery is not to be mistaken for a panel truck as this is a two-door station wagon equipped with a driver and front passenger seat only, and a cargo area in the rear.

Mechanical

Ours is powered by small block Chevrolet engine and a 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine has a lot of performance and accessary upgrades like the 4-barrel carb, aluminum intake, chrome open element air cleaner, performance spark plug wires, chrome Chevy Bow Tie Logo valve covers, air conditioning, and a dual exhaust system.

It runs great and looks very nice in the very clean and painted engine compartment. Our 38 rides on fat black sidewall tires and chrome wire wheels giving it a great look.

Interior

Inside we will find a pair of bucket seats in two-tone light and dark grey that is comfortable and looks great with the matching door panels, wood dash, and a wood overhead unit containing the custom stereo radio system.

It has aftermarket Classic Industries vintage gauges, air conditioning, automatic floor shifter, wood and polished steering wheel, gray carpet and headliner.

The rear cargo is done in matching gray on all the side panels with gray carpeting and finished superbly.

Exterior

The Ford is painted in a great looking shade of dark blue with great chrome bumpers and grill, with the underbody and undercarriage painted and detailed and in great shape.

It has black side steps on it between the nice rounded fenders with the front exterior painted with a different shade of blue on the ghost flames on them and the hood.

Conclusion

This is a very nice restored 1938 Ford Sedan Delivery that is a fantastic representation of an old workhorse with modern street rod upgrades. It will take you on endless cruises and attract attention wherever you drive it.
