1962 Chevrolet C-10
Why This Car Is Special
The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full -size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the United States.
Pickup trucks are red hot right now, and that means that examples like this 1962 Chevy C10 we have here at Skyway Classics are only going to become more popular.
It has been restored, has a lot of originality, and a lot of workmanship to create a hauler that you'll be eager to show or use.
Mechanical Specs
The majority of these 1962 Chevrolet trucks came with an inline-six and that is what this one has in the painted and restored engine bay and backed by the original three-speed on the column manual transmission.
The engine compartment is simple and nicely done, but not so full of catalog shiny stuff that you're afraid to put it on the road. It features the orange painted engine block and Chevrolet valve covers, the factory oil-bath air cleaner assembly sits on top of the carburetor, factory intake and exhaust manifolds, and all other stock factory looking parts, belts, and hoses. It runs smoothly and quietly so there is no reason not to drive this truck every day. Classic white painted factory wheels with whitewall tires make for the classic factory original look.
Interior
The interior has refreshed with a stock look with the red and white new upholstered bench seat with matching door panels, red and white matching painted dash with factory instrumentation, three-speed on the column shifter, and white painted Chevrolet steering wheel.
Exterior
Chevy had the great truck design back in 1962, and this gorgeous pickup is a great example of why. The styling is rugged, and as usual, ours has a high-visibility color combination, red and white!
The bright red paint looks awesome on the amazing lines of this pickup, with a finish that still looks but not so good that you'll be afraid to use it like a truck was intended to. There's also a wooden bed with stainless rub strips.
Conclusion
This 1962 Chevrolet C10 Truck we have here at Skyway Classics is such a neat ride to add to your collection. It is unique and a great truck to drive and the paint is cool and everyone will comment on it at the shows.
