The Cadillac Allantes engine was a 273 cubic inch 4.5L V8 engine that produced 200 horsepower and 270 ft-lbs of torque so it provided the most torque from any front wheel drive vehicle in the world at the time. It looks factory stock and sits in a very clean and detailed engine compartment.
The 4.5L V8 engine has lots of get up and go and since this is a smaller 2-door vehicle, that means there is less weight which allows the motor to carry the vehicle better. Cadillac did a great job at engineering a fun car that drives great. The transmission is an automatic and it paired with power steering, power brakes, and an incredibly solid body.
It has had the air conditioning converted to 134A as well as replacing the oil pan and tapped gaskets, new battery, water pump, and serpentine belt.
Interior
This Cadillac was true luxury in 1989 with many modern amenities such as Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Seats with Lumbar support, Power Steering, Power/Anti-Lock Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Seats, power mirrors, AM/FM, Telescopic Wheel, Airbags.
The Cadillac Allante featured a fully electronic instrument and control panel that competed with the top luxury brand vehicles of its time. Ours has had a brand new Stereo Radio System w/Bluetooth installed too.
The black twin bucket seat interior is in great shape can be seen as the upholstery. There are no tears or rips that we could find and they have minimal wear. This car has working dashes features and many information indicators that the driver can play around with on the front console. All in all, in inside of this car is in great shape with the carpet and trunk mats being original.
Exterior
Our Caddy is painted in Lipstick Red and looks amazing. The black top also compliments the car perfectly. Both the paint and top are in great condition and have minimal wear on them.
You can cruise the streets in the summer with the top down, because this Cadillac has a soft top that is in like new condition. It rides on good black wall tires and the factory Cadillac wheels too.
