1966 Chevrolet Restored Pickup
Why This Car Is Special
We have a 1966 Chevrolet Pickup truck here at Skyway Classics that had a nut and bolt frame off restoration, has the factory original 283 cubic inch engine, automatic, factory air conditioning, showing the original 82,000 miles, has the original glove box sticker proving the options it came with, and looks better than new everywhere you look.
It also has appeared on several magazine and calendars. How many '66 trucks were built with these options listed below?
Mechanical
Under the hood of our beauty is the original factory 283 cubic-inch small block Chevy “High Torque 283” engine all painted correctly in Chevy racing orange paint on its engine block, valve covers, and intake, sporting the four-barrel carburetor and black factory air cleaner assembly.
It has the factory rare 4 Season Air Conditioning option and is shifted by the Power Glide automatic transmission and it has power steering and brakes, and heavy-duty springs.
Everything in this painted and detailed engine compartment looks superb and it starts and runs as new also.
Interior
The restored factory interior was upscale when this truck was new and had great style and comfort with the upholstered bench seat with the matching carpet and door panels.
The factory dash looks as it did new too with all the original gauges, switches, radio, and controls as well as the correct true vintage feel with the wheel and the classic column-mounted shifter.
Exterior
This is just one awesome early C10 and the paint is top notch on the body that's straight as can be. The sheet metal hugs the hood line and wraps around the doors, down the bed, with chrome bumpers and grille, as the white roof to give this a subtle two-tone.
And it also has real wood in the truck bed to add to the style. It rides on factory correct red painted stock wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps on whitewall tires.
Conclusion
This is one immaculate 1966 Chevrolet Pickup truck we have here at Skyway Classics that has been the benefactor of a nut and bolt frame off restoration, has the factory original 283 cubic inch engine, automatic, and factory air conditioning, and is an all-around award-worthy presentation.
So don't let this one slip away.
