Why This Vehicle is Special
The Ford Mustang Mach 1, like the one we have here at Skyway Classics, was a performance-oriented option package of the Ford Mustang only available in the 'Sports Roof' body style.
Per the Trim Tag and the Vin number it is an original 1969 Mach 1 351 built with the H–Code Optional 351 V8 2-barrel, 63C–Mustang Mach 1 Sports Roof Deluxe Interior, painted in 65-Code Acapulco Blue with a Matte Black Hood, and 3AA–Code Black Vinyl and Black Knitted Mach 1 Luxury Interior.
Mechanical
It has the correct blue Ford Racing painted paint on the optional 351 cubic inch V8, engine and intake, 4-speed Manual Transmission with floor shifter, chrome valve covers, factory cast iron exhaust headers, chrome open-air element air cleaner, power steering and brakes, and all sitting in a clean, detailed, and painted engine compartment.
The exhaust exit out under the rear of the car and it rides on the factory sport wheels with white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA performance tires.
Interior
Open the door see for yourself this period correct original 3AA Deluxe interior with black bucket seats w/knit vinyl, wood trim and molded door panels, black carpeting, radio, wood Mustang sport steering wheel, wood grain dash with all the correct factory gauges, seatbelts, 4-speed chrome shifter, and the matching rear seat.

Our Mach 1 started with a 'Sports Roof' body and Ford added numerous visual and performance enhancing items such as matte black hood treatment with hood pins, hood scoop, competition suspension, chrome pop-open gas cap, chrome exhaust tips, deluxe interior, livery and dealer optional chin spoiler, rear deck spoiler, and rear window louvers (Sport Slats).
Ours has the Acapulco Blue paint scheme that is laser straight with all body panels aligning well. The hood also has the factory Matte Black hood scoop with the 351 logo to tell everyone what engine you have under the hood and the gold side stripe bearing the Mach 1 decal on each side.
