We have a gorgeous 1970 Royal Maroon paint job with a white convertible top that is fully restored Mustang here at Skyway Classics that has been built to be driven and enjoyed with its 302 cubic inch V8 engine and automatic transmission.
The 1970 Mustang is a much sought-after design as it was a one-year only style that gave the original pony car a more muscular image.
This car is incredibly clean and solid and has been meticulously restored.
Mechanical
This Mustang has the optional 210 horsepower 302 cubic inch V8 engine in it that all looks original to the car. It has been painted in the correct Ford Racing Blue paint from the engine block, intake, valve covers and air cleaner and has the correct 302 Decals on top of the lid.
All the other components look great including the distributor, coil, spark plug wires, brackets, pulleys, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, air conditioning, and all sitting in a very clean, restored, painted, and detailed engine compartment.
Interior
The 1970 Mustang interior was both comfortable and sporty from the factory, and it is restored to factory stock with white high back buckets that welcome you into the driver's seat where you will notice the wood sport Ford Mustang steering wheel that looks great, the factory gauges in the dash, wood grain on the dash and doors, great matching white door panels, center black console, rear matching seat, and headliner, radio, automatic shifter on the floor, black carpet, and black Mustang logo floor mats.
Exterior
The Royal Maroon paint looks fantastic and is set off by the black hood stripe and hood scoop, Magnum 500 wheels with raised white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA performance tires, super white convertible top, great chrome on the front and rear bumpers, and dual exhaust tips that exit under the blacked out rear panel and chrome bumper.
The underside shows well along with the trunk having the jack and full-size spare tire, convertible boot, with the trunk mat still there too.
