Why This Car Is Special

We have a super good looking restored silver 1968 Ford Mustang here at Skyway Classics that is not only looks great, but has the what appears to be original economical 200 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine, and is a fine, well-maintained example of a classic Mustang.

Mechanical

Open the hood on our Mustang and you will see the base engine that came in these Mustangs, the 200 cubic inch Thriftpower 6-cylinder engine rated at 115 horsepower @ 4,400rpm and 190 lb⋅ft of torque @ 2,400 rpm.

It sits in a clean and detailed engine compartment with the engine painted in Ford blue and topped off the correct blue valve cover, performance spark plug wires, chrome open element air cleaner and oil breather cap, and more.

It runs and sounds terrific and is backed by a 3-speed C4 automatic transmission as well as a dual exhaust system with tips coming out underneath the rear bumper.

Interior

The interior looks as new with the twin black bucket seats up front and matching rear seat and door panels and a center console. It has a great factory looking dash with a Ford Mustang steering wheel, aftermarket AM/FM stereo radio system, factory gauges, black carpet and Mustang floor mats, and the chrome C4 automatic shifter on the floor.

Behind in the trunk you will find it also cleaned and detailed with a factory type trunk mat and all areas coated to look as it did factory new.

Exterior

The body fitment is great as is the paint on this Mustang as does all the chrome, bumpers, trim, emblems, and chrome sport mirrors. It looks good and sleek as it rides on custom aftermarket five-spoke grey mag wheels and black wall tires.

Conclusion

This 1968 Ford Mustang here at Skyway Classics is as nice as any you will find. It is a bona-fide collector car for all serious collectors and will give you a great ride and stand-out at any cruise or car show.
