1968 Chevrolet Camaro
Why This Vehicle is Special
1968 Chevrolet Camaros are becoming one of the most iconic Chevrolet Classis of all time. When you find as original looking as the white with blue interior 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible like the one we have here at Skyway Classics, with the original drivetrain, you have found a winner.
Mechanical
Our Camaro has what looks to be the original 327 cubic inch small block Chevy engine it was born with that was rated at 210 horsepower from the factory.
The engine sits in a great painted, clean, and detailed compartment with the factory orange painted valve covers, block and intake, factory cast iron exhaust headers, original carb, factory correct black air cleaner assembly, and stock type plug wires. The power is managed by the automatic transmission before being sent to the 10-bolt rear end with Power Steering and Power brakes making for a great driving experience.
Interior
Our 68 has a great factory look to it with the blue twin bucket seat interior with the matching rear blue vinyl seat, blue carpet and floor mats, blue door panels, all correct gauges in the dash as well as the original radio. The interior lights, knobs, handles, visors, etc. work as they should, and the interior is set off with the Chevrolet factory three-spoke steering wheel, wood grain trim, factory correct automatic shifter and gauge package in the blue console, and the blue passenger grab rail above the glove box.
Exterior
The white paint looks nice and is set off by the blue bumblebee stripe on the front end. The bodywork and paint looks good as does the chrome, trim, and 327 and Camaro emblems.
The paint also highlights the nice bodylines of this convertible as the folding roof adds to the total package almost like a subtle two-tone.
It rides on factory correct Chevrolet Rally wheels with the chrome caps and trim rings and BF Goodrich TA Radials tires to give it the right nostalgic look.
Conclusion
If you ever wanted an original looking 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible with a great color combination, original drivetrain with the 327 engine, automatic transmission, then this one we have here at Skyway Classics is the one for you.
You will find that this is one of the rare ones you do not find very often with good power, dependability, and value, that you need to come see.
